“Multi-Omics Data-Driven Integration” workshop at Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation 57357, in collaboration with BioNetMasr

Attending the “Multi-Omics Data-Driven Integration” workshop at Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation 57357, in collaboration with BioNetMasr, was an enlightening experience. This workshop was packed with valuable information on the latest techniques for integrating multi-omics data.

Throughout the workshop, I gained knowledge of machine learning models, dimensionality reduction techniques, and data-driven integration of different omics using MOFA (Multi‐Omics Factor Analysis) and DIABLO (Data Integration Analysis for Biomarker discovery using Latent variable approaches for Omics studies). Moreover, beyond the technical aspects, this workshop created a collaborative environment that allowed me to engage in discussions with fellow attendees from diverse backgrounds.

Special thanks to Dr. Sameh Magdeldin, head of Proteomics and Metabolomics Unit, and the instructors 🇵🇸Ahmed Karam, M.Sc., Renad Alaa, and Alaa Ahmed, for their insightful presentations and practical demonstrations.
