Founding Member of the National Bioinformatics Network (BioNetMasr) and Member of the Executive Committee of BioNetMasr.

Dr.Mohamed is an Associate Professor of Cellular, Molecular, Industrial Biotechnology, and Molecular Immunobiology; Founder and Director of Helwan University Precision Excellence Unit.
Founder of the Molecular Biotechnology Bachelor’s Degree Program, Former Director of Grants and International Cooperation Office, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Mohamed Essameldin Abdelgawad is an experienced researcher in Translational Biomedicine. His research interests comprise Cellular, Molecular & Industrial Biotechnology, Molecular Immunobiology, Tissue & Organoid Bioengineering, Disease Modelling, Multi-targeted therapy, and Regenerative and Translational Therapy, at Helwan University.
He is a Staff Scientist, at Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), Wake Forest University, NC, USA.


His mission is to find novel & non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic innovative interventions to patients via Innovative Bioengineering of Novel Cellular Microenvironments/niches for Physiological and Disease Modelling of Human Organoids, Spheroids, and Tumoroids for Drug Discovery, Combined Targeted Therapy, Cellular, Immunotherapy and Gene Therapy, Translational Therapy, Tissue Engineering, and Regenerative Medicine Applications with Special Focus on Human Brain, Liver, Lung, Skin, Kidney and Heart Organoids and Tumoroids.

The analyses of multi-omics data of various physiological versus pathological human organoids and tumoroids/complex in vitro models will ensure optimal multi-interventional diagnoses and therapy of high-priority health well-fare challenging problems in Egyptian society and the globe.
