Dr. Yasmine Aguib

Member of the Executive Committee of The National Bioinformatics Network BioNetMasr.
Dr.Yasmine is the Co-founder and Director of the Research and Innovation at Magdi She is contributing to the implementation and execution of MYF’s Research and Innovation Strategy which consists of a continuum of population science, translational, and basic science research targeting a large number of complex cardiovascular disease conditions in the region.

Dr. Aguib is Co-PI in the Foundation Leducq Transatlantic Networks of Excellence for ‘Redox Regulation of Cardiomyocyte Renewal’. In frame of the German Excellence Initiative, she was appointed scientific consultant to the TUM president for life sciences and international strategic alliances where she spearheaded strategic projects like the TUM Global Strategy and the EuroTech Universities Alliance.

Her current work focuses on advancing Precision Medicine in Africa and Global Health equity, linking cutting edge Research and Technology with clinical practice.

Dr. Aguib is member of several national and int’l Scientific Advisory Boards, such as Egypt’s National Genome Project and UAE Healthy Future Program.Yacoub Foundation (Egypt) and hon. senior research fellow at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London (UK).
